This privacy policy sets out the basis on which Finmo Tech Pte Ltd (UEN 202127305C) and its group of companies around the world (collectively known as “Finmo”), may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data relating to you in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This Policy applies to personal data in the possession or under the control of Finmo, including any organization that Finmo may engage to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for the purposes of Finmo.
We use the information we collect about you to maximize the services that we provide to you. We respect the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you and adhere to the International Privacy Principles in markets we operate. Please read our Policy below carefully.

Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data
Customer Personal Data will be collected and used by the Finmo for any one or more of the following purposes:
to assess and evaluate your eligibility for registering an account with Finmo;
to manage the relationship between you and Finmo;
to enable Finmo to perform its obligations under or in connection with the provision of services and/or products to you;
to maintain legal and regulatory compliance in the jurisdictions in which Finmo operates;
to enforce the terms and conditions of any agreement between you and Finmo (including this Policy);
to enable Finmo to improve its services and/or products and marketing and customer relationships;
to send you updates on the services and/or products of Finmo, benefits, promotions and other such promotional material from time to time at the email address and/or contact number provided by you to Finmo;
where required under any applicable laws;
where required under any order of court from a court of competent jurisdiction;
for such purposes to which you have given your consent in writing (collectively the "Purposes")
Unless otherwise permitted or required under the PDPA or any other applicable laws, Finmo generally collects Customer Personal Data in the course of or in connection with the registration of an account and/or sub-account(s) with Finmo and only after you have:
been notified of the Purposes; and
provided Finmo with your written consent to the collection, use and disclosure of Customer Personal Data for the Purposes.
You acknowledge and agree that any Customer Personal Data provided to us (whether electronically or otherwise):
is done knowingly and voluntarily by you;
is complete, true and accurate in all respects; and
does not omit anything that affects or is likely to affect the meaning or significance of such personal data in any respect.
In order to ensure that Customer Personal Data is complete, true and accurate in all respects, you acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to update Finmo within reasonable time if there are any changes to such Customer Personal Data by informing the data protection officer of the Finmo in writing or via email at the contact details provided below in this Policy.
In the event that you provide personal data relating to any individual (whether such an individual is a Data Subject or otherwise), you undertake that you have obtained the consent from such individual concerned for the disclosure such personal data relating to them to Finmo and for Finmo to collect, use and disclose such personal data for the Purposes.
Finmo reserves the right to request for proof of notification and consent for the disclosure of personal data by an individual under paragraph 5 above.
You agree that Finmo may disclose Customer Personal Data to:
any governmental agency or regulatory authority of any jurisdiction properly exercising its powers;
professional advisers of the Finmo;
parties providing services and/or products to Finmo (including information technology services, know-your-client and anti-money laundering compliance services providers);
relevant group of companies around the world related to Finmo;
entities that Finmo is in discussions with for a merger or an acquisition of the Finmo by such other entities;
entities that acquire the assets of Finmo pursuant to any applicable law;
entities pursuant to any order of court from a court of competent jurisdiction
You acknowledge and agree that Finmo may continue to use and disclose Customer Personal Data for a reasonable period following the termination of the relationship between you and the Finmo for any one or more of the following purposes
to allow Finmo to fulfill its outstanding obligations to you under any agreement between you and Finmo, if any;
to allow Finmo to enforce its rights under any agreement between you and Finmo, if any;
For such purposes to which you have given your consent in writing;
where required under any applicable laws;
where required under any order of court from a court of competent jurisdiction.

Finmo obtains such information from third-party sources to comply with its legal obligations, including applicable anti-money laundering laws and to ensure that the services and/or products of Finmo are not used fraudulently or for other illicit activities.

To safeguard Customer Personal Data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks, Finmo has introduced appropriate administrative, physical, and technical measures (including up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption, and use of privacy filters) to secure all storage and transmission of Customer Personal Data by Finmo.
Any disclosure of Customer Personal Data (whether internally or otherwise) will only be carried out on a need-to-know basis.
You acknowledge and agree that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure and Finmo makes no representation and/or warranty (whether express or implied) that there will be no unauthorized:
access to the Customer Personal Data;
copying of the Customer Personal Data; and/or
disposal of the Customer Personal Data.
You agree that, save for any willful default or fraud on the part of Finmo or its directors, officers, employees, representatives, and/or agents (each a "Relevant Person"), no Relevant Person shall be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, damages, costs and/or expenses (including any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or economic loss or any claims for loss of profits or loss of use) arising from or in connection with this Policy.
